  Third, market conditions

Thailand is China's third largest trading partner among ASEAN countries, and China is also one of Thailand's main trading partners。In 2023, the total bilateral trade between China and Thailand will reach 1,049.6.4 billion US dollars, of which China's exports to Thailand 757.$400 million, imported 505.$400 million。Bilateral trade cooperation covers a wide range of fields, including agriculture, manufacturing, science and technology, and energy。

In the field of green technology, China-Thailand cooperation has shown great potential。With the increasing importance of environmental protection and sustainable development in the world, green technology has become an important direction of future economic development。Thailand is an important economy in ASEAN,We will increase investment in renewable energy, electric vehicles, energy conservation and environmental protection,Especially under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and Lancang-Mekong Cooperation,China is a global leader in green technology,Carry out in-depth cooperation with Thailand by virtue of technological advantages,It has not only promoted the development of green technology in Thailand,It has also brought more opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries。

In terms of the electric vehicle market, the Thai government has promoted the development of the electric vehicle industry through a series of policies, including electric vehicle subsidy policies, consumption tax reduction and other measures。In 2023, Thailand's electric vehicle market will reach $1.2 billion, with an annual growth rate of up to 20%。A number of Chinese new energy vehicle companies, such as SAIC, Great Wall, BYD, etc., have established production and sales systems in Thailand, driving the rapid development of Thailand's electric vehicle industry。Thailand plans to increase the production of electric vehicles to 30% of total vehicle production by 2030, and the Thai government has also launched the "EV3..5 "policy to further support the development of the electric vehicle industry。

The rapid development of Thailand's new energy electric vehicle industry has also led to the growth of the related accessories market。The Thai government has provided tax incentives for new energy vehicle manufacturers to support the development of batteries, components and charging piles。Chinese companies have played an important role in Thailand's battery manufacturing and electric vehicle supply chain construction, further promoting the localization of Thailand's electric vehicle industry。The local charging infrastructure is also gradually improving, with the number of charging piles in Thailand reaching 9,694 by the end of 2023, which is expected to increase to 1 by 2030.3万个。

In the field of renewable energy, Thailand has actively promoted energy transformation to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels。By 2023, Thailand's share of renewable energy will reach 17 percent.8%, of which PV installed capacity of 3,551 MW, accounting for 25% of the total renewable energy。Thailand plans to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and become carbon neutral by 2030。The growth of the photovoltaic market is particularly significant, and the installed PV capacity is expected to reach 5.52吉瓦。Thailand is also actively promoting innovative projects such as "photovoltaic + agriculture" and "photovoltaic + fisheries", which not only improve the efficiency of land resource utilization, but also promote the sustainable development of agriculture and fisheries。

In the field of environmental protection, the acceleration of urbanization in Thailand has increased the market demand for solid waste treatment and water treatment。At present, there is a huge gap in Thailand's domestic waste treatment capacity, and the annual processing capacity is far lower than the annual production。In order to deal with this problem, the Thai government has cooperated with Chinese enterprises to carry out extensive cooperation and technology introduction in the fields of solid waste treatment, garbage power generation, and sewage treatment。At the same time, Thailand has also passed a series of environmental regulations, such as the Ban on the import of plastic waste Act, to encourage the development of the domestic plastic recycling industry。In addition, the Thai government attaches great importance to water resources management, implementing strict water quality standards and recycling water policies to promote sustainable use of water resources。

In terms of policy support, Thailand has introduced a number of incentive policies in the field of green technology, environmental protection and renewable energy, including tax breaks, subsidies, and feed-in tariff support for renewable energy projects。Thailand's Comprehensive Energy Blueprint and Alternative Energy Development Plan (AEDP) provide a strong policy framework for the country's energy transition and green technology development。By 2037, Thailand plans to add 18 more.7 GW of installed renewable energy capacity, accounting for 30% of total energy consumption。
